The influence of the peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor antagonist PK 11195 on blood glucose and serum lipid levels in rats interactions with diazepam : experimental study on hyperglycemic and hyperlipidemic rats
Current Therapeutic Research-clinical and Experimental(1991)
摘要
In streptozotocin-induced diabetes, the intraperitoneal (IP) administration of PK 11195, a peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor antagonist, completely abolished and even reversed the lowering effects of IP injected diazepam on hyperglycemia and hyperdyslipidemia in rats. It was concluded that the stimulation of the peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptors was accompanied by marked changes in the carbohydrate lipid metabolism.
