Polyfunctional Flouropyridine Scaffolds For Drug Discovery

The approach of using perfluorinated pyridine derivatives as polyfunctional core scaffolds for the synthesis of otherwise relatively inaccessible polysubstituted pyridine, (5,6)- and (6,6)-ring fused pyridine systems has potentially wide applications for rapid analogue synthesis in the drug discovery process.
