PROBLEMS OF RADIOCHEMICAL PROCESSING OF STRUCTURAL MATERIALS OF FUSION REACTOR : COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS ON RADIOCHEMICAL PROCESSING OF IRRADIATED STRUCTURAL MATERIALS

A methodological approach is developed to the problem of processing structural materials of a fusion reactor, as applied to the DEMO project, where an alloy based on V, Cr, and Ti is selected as a base structural material. The data on the contribution of various radionuclides to the dose rate produced by irradiated structural materials are summarized. The requirements are formulated to radiochemical refinement of irradiated structural materials, allowing their refabrication with the minimal protection from radiation.
