摘要
The Coastal Sand Plain consists of more than 2 million acres of rangeland in southern Texas characterized by unique history, geology, climate, and biotic communities. It borders the shallow waters of the Laguna Madre on the east and extends inland about 60 miles to meet the Brush Country of the Rio Grande Plain on the west and southwest. The region borders Baffin Bay and the Coastal Prairie on the north and the lower Rio Grande Valley on the south.
