摘要
Introduction: In experimental models, the administration of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) reduces myocardial and renal damage, mainly through paracrine mechanisms. Thus, for translational purposes, it is essential to establish whether donor age influences the paracrine properties of human MSC. Accordingly, we aimed to compare the effects of conditioned medium (CM) derived from very young fetal MSC (F-CM) and with CM derived from adult bone marrow MSC (o-CM; age >65 years) in well-established experimental models of acute myocardial (AMI) and renal damage (AKI).
