Research progress on modification of LiFePO_4 by graphene

Abstract
In this paper, the present situation and the latest research progress on the modification of LiFePO4 by graphene were reviewed, involving the structure and the electrochemical mechanisms, the factors that influenced the electrochemical properties and the preparation methods. The current problems of this field were analyzed and discussed. The modification of LiFePO4 by graphene could greatly improve the conductivity of LiFePO4. Compared with other traditional carbon materials, graphene will be the most promising carbon active material for the modification of cathode materials in lithium-ion battery because of its unique structure and excellent electrochemical property. The modification of LiFePO4 by graphene will positively promote the application of LiFePO4 in the lithium ion power battery.
