Abstract
Objective To observe the left ventricular wall motion features of normal subjects using the quantitative tissue velocity imaging(QTVI) and eight points method, we evaluated the practical value of QTVI. Methods To measure the segmental left ventricular wall motion velocity of 40 normal subjects using QTVI. Results We found the left ventricular wall motion curve was made of the systolic(S), early diastolic(E), atria contraction(A), isovolumic relaxation(IR)and isovolumic contraction(IC) during every cardiac cycle. In general, the velocity of left ventricular dissociative wall was higher than that of septum, the same wall had the highest velocity at the basal segment, and the smallest velocity at the apical segment. Conclusion The left ventricular wall motion velocity of normal was not equation to every segment. QTVI had the practical value in regional myocardial motion function evaluation.
