Abstract
Through experiment it proves that ceramic thermo-mechanical drill bit is feasible. The wear resistance of Sialon-SiC material is 2.8 times as much as that of YG alloy. The cost of Sialon-SiC is only 1/10 times that of YG alloy. Using hot-press techniques to fix ceramal in drill bit is trusty.
