Research on Direct Force Control Stability of High-Speed Spinning Missile

The influence of direct force to the stability of spinning missile is studied. The mathematic model of spinning missile under the effect of direct force is established; a method to calculate the range of direct force which can keep the precession and nutation movements stable is given based on Routh stability criteria. The simulation indicates that the introduction of direct force would lead to precession or nutation movements even the missile is stable,the method is of great significance to the application of direct force to spinning missile.
