Analysis on the detection results of 501 608 blood samples provided by voluneer blood donors in 2011- 2013 in Chengdu

Objective To investigate the infection index of volunteer blood donors in Chengdu,to facilitate the prevention and control of disease transmission via blood,and To minimize blood scrap rate for the preservation of blood resource.Methods The blood test results of 501,608 voluntary blood donors from January 2011 to December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed using Tangshan 9. 0 software. Results The unqualified rate of blood sample was 5. 15%. The unqualified rates of HBs Ag,anti-HCV,anti-HIV,TP and ALT were 1. 56%,0. 91%,0. 30%,1. 71% and 1. 01%,respectively. In the descending order from high to low,the unqualified rates were HBs Ag syphilis ALT anti-HCV anti-HIV. Conclusion The unqualified rate of blood sample showed an upward trend. In order to guanratee the safety of blood,blood banks should enhance the application of health consultation before blood collection,develop more rapid screening projects,establish a fixed blood donor force and improve the management of blood quality.
