Application of Simulation Design of Sand-faced Iron Mould Casting Process Based on Anycasting

Sand-faced iron mould casting process has become a more advanced casting process. It has achieved automated production and has high efficiency. A preliminary casting process was designed by predicting the casting defects of the grinding ball casting in the sand-faced iron mould casting process and a simulation and analysis was carried out by Anycasting. After trial production, the optimizing process plan was carried out for the actual production defects. The simulation results show that it has no shrinkage defects and the simulation results can guide the practice.
