Abstract
For the problems of application of shape memory alloy in fuze,such as low response or complex structure,a SMA safety device with the Zr-BaCrO4 heat paper was present.The SMA safety device was composed of a cover,an electric igniter,a cavity,Zr-BaCrO4 heat paper with the scale of milligrams dosage,shape memory alloy sheet and asbestos paper,being an independent device.Inverse phase transition occurred when the SMA sheet was directly heated by Zr-BaCrO4 heat paper,and the recovery strain cause the release on an insured part. The test results showed that the SMA safety part was Φ5mm×8mm in size,and had 2.2mm displacement in the 10ms range after the igniter been energized.The SMA safety part had advantages of simple architecture,small size,quick response and reliability,which could be used in delay arming device in fuze.
