Abstract
[Objective]To understand the current situation of occupational diseases in China from 2007-2012,analyze the spectrum of occupational disease and the epidemiological trend. [Methods]The data of occupational diseases were collected,which were reported by the Ministry of Health from 2007-2012. The confirmed cases of occupational diseases were enrolled in this study.[Results]A total of 130 707 occupational disease cases were reported in China from 2007-2012,and there were 110 706 new pneumoconiosis cases,accounting for 84. 70% of total cases of occupational diseases. Most of pneumoconiosis cases were silicosis and coal worker's pneumoconiosis. The leading cause of acute poisoning was carbon monoxide,while a majority of chronic occupational poisoning cases were caused by lead and its compounds,as well as benzene. During 2007-2012,417 cases of occupational tumor were reported,which mainly included lung cancer of coke oven worker,and benzene-induced leukemia. [Conclusion]The cases of occupational diseases have increased year by year in China,and the main disease is pneumoconiosis. The case number of occupational poisoning has maintained at a higher level,while the cases of occupational tumor showed a rising trend. The epidemic situation of occupational diseases is serious in China,so the prevention and control of occupational disease shoulder heavy responsibilities,and it is urgent to carry out the prevention and control measures.
