Effect clinical observation of endovenous laser combining with high ligation in treatment of great saphenous varicosity

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of endovenous laser combining with vein ligation in treatment of great saphenous varicosity. Methods From January 2012 to January 2013 in Jizhong Energy Xingtai Mining Group Co., Ltd. General Hospital, 100 patients with saphenous varicosity according to different treatment methods were selected and divided into group A and group B with 50 patients in each group. Group A was given endovascular laser combining high ligation, group B was treated with conventional surgery. Total efficiency rate, undergoing unilateral limb surgery time of the operation, hospital stay, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative subcutaneous congestion, local anesthetic calf, calf localized numbness, infection wound, superficial phlebitis incidence of complication in group A and group B were compared. Results The total effective rate of the group A was 96.0%, the total effective rate of B group was 76.0%, the difference was statistically significant(χ2= 7.356, P 0.05). Unilateral limb surgery time and hospital stay in group A [(34.12±15.34) min,(3.1±1.2) d] were shorter than those in group B [(55.22±11.86) min,(5.3±2.8) d], the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Intraoperative blood loss in group A [(15.5±2.3) mL] was less than that in group B [(53.7±10.7) mL], the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Postoperative complication rate in group A(8.0%) was lower than that in group B(30.0%), the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Endovascular laser combining with high ligation in treatment of great saphenous varicosity is easy to operate, it is minimally invasive, safe and good, has less complications, shorter hospital stay, and so on. It is suitable for the majority of grassroots units and promotion, application.
