Advances in Research in Connection Between Neutrophil and Myocardial Reperfusion after Acute Myocardial Infarction

Suboptimal myocardial reperfusion after reperfusion therapy in acute myocardial infarction( AMI) was associated with poor prognosis.Neutrophil activation,congregation,the formation of platelet-leukocyte complexes and oxidative stress play a key role in impaired myocardial perfusion in AMI.Inflammation may be a common link between epicardial macrovascular and impaired myocardial perfusion.Inhibition neutrophil activation,congregation,the formation of platelet-leukocyte complexes may improve myocardial reperfusion and prognosis in AMI.
