Abstract
Purpose To observe and compare the clinical effects of point Shanzhong(CV 27) moxibustion plus prepared Chinese medicine and simple prepared Chinese medicine. Methods Sixty three patients with myocardial ischemia were randomly divided into a treatment group of 33 cases receiving non scar producing point Shanzhong moxibustion plus oral composite red sage pills and a control group of 30 cases receiving oral or sublingual composite red sage pills. Results The total effective rate was 90.9% in the treatment group and 83.3% in the control group. There was a significant difference in curative effect ( P 0.05) and also in the total downward deviation value of S T segments of all electrocardiographic leads( P 0.05) between the two groups. Conclusion The curative effect of non scar producing point Shanzhong moxibustion plus composite red sage pills on myocardial ischemia is better than that of simple composite red sage pills.
