A Data Mining Method for Exploring Spatio-temporal Behavior Sequence Patterns of Targets

An approach of mining latent action patterns of moving objects from moving path data is presented in this paper,which is mainly concerned with three steps: forming a sequence of path points of moving objects; computing and setting parameters for mining process; conducting mining process. The mining process is recursive. More and longer action patterns are discovered as the algorithm is developed. Experimental results show that this approach is effective and scalable.
