Abstract

Results Ultrasound-guided biopsy samples were successfully taken from the 29 patients with a success puncture rate of 100%. Of the 29 patients, 27 were diagnosed with omental diseases by histopathology with a qualitative diagnostic rate of 93.1%(27/29). Of these 27 patients, 25 were followed up, during which they were finally diagnosed with omental diseases by pathology with a qualitative diagnostic rate of 92.6%(25/27). No severe complications occurred except for abdominal wall swelling in 1 patient(3.5%, 1/29) after biopsy. Conclusion The accuracy of ultrasound-guided biopsy is high for the diagnosis of omental diseases and can thus provide reference for their clinical diagnosis.
