Abstract
Correlation between elements and amino acids in wheat and corn from KashinBeck diseased (KBD) areas and nonKBD areas was investigated in this paper in order to know the relation among elements and amino acids in wheat and corn from KBD areas and the declined prevalence of KBD. Contents of 17 amino acids and 12 elements in wheat and com, taken from 54 KBD families in KBD declined areas of Shaanxi, were assayed by ICP and type Bekman 121 amino acids analyzed Instrument. Results showed: (1) Contents of MnFeSrTiin wheat from KBD areas were higher than that in com of KBD areas. (2) Contents of multiple kinds of amino acids in wheat from KBD areas were lower than that in nonKBD areas, but higher than that of com from KBD areas. (3) Negative correlation between elements and amino acids were observed in wheat, but positive in com. Contents of multiple kinds of elements and amino acids in wheat from KBD areas were higher than that in com from KBD areas. It is benefit for the decline of KBD prevalence to
