摘要
Objective To observe the clinical value of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 h postprandial plasma glucose(2hPG) and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) in the diagnostic of diabetes mellitus. Methods The FPG,2hPG and HbA1c of 198 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,110 cases of patients with impaired fasting plasma glucose and 118 cases of healthy people was tested. The test outcomes and the positive rate and misdiagnosed rate of diabetes mellitus was analyzed. Results The FPG,2hPG and HbA1c in the group of type 2 diabetes mellitus was higher than that of the group of healthy people respectively, the difference was significant(P0.05).The FPG and HbA1c in the group of impaired fasting plasma was obviously higher than that of the group of healthy people, the difference was significant(P 0.05);but the 2hPG had no significant difference(P0.05).The diagnosis rate of the FPG in the group of 198 cases of patients with diabetes mellitus was 48.0%,the diagnosis rate of 2hPG was 91.4%,the diagnosis rate of HbA1c was 89.9%,and the diagnosis rate of all the three was 98.5%,which was evidently higher than any single index, the difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusion As diagnosis index of diabetes mellitus,FPG,2hPG and HbA1c all have their own characteristics and the combined detection of the three can further enhance the prevalence of diabetes mellitus, which has major clinical significance and value in screening, diagnosing and assessing toward diabetes mellitus.
