Research Progress of Type II diabetes-related genes

The incidence of type II diabetes has increased drastically during the development of live standard.Consequently,type II diabetes now has been a serious threat to the current and future health of all population..It's now well recognized that insulin secretion defect and insulin resistance(IR) are two important causes on the pathogenesis of type Ⅱ diabetes.These theories are accepted by most of professional researchers.In this article,we review recent research progresses of type II diabetes-related genes in insulin secretion defect aspect and IR aspects.
