Effectiveness of a family-centered intervention program in very low birth weight preterm infants at term age: a randomized controlled trial
Physiotherapy(2015)
Abstract
Background: Preterm birth (gestational age < 37 weeks) with very low birth weight (VLBW, birth weight < 1500 g) is a public health issue globally. The advancement of perinatal care has significantly improved the neonatal survival rate of preterm infants with VLBW, however their risk of neurodevelopmental disorders remains high.
