C-Kit Positive Diffuse Cutaneous Mastocytosis with Systemic Manifestations in a Neonate

Mastocytosis is a disease characterized by local or diffuse increased growth and accumulation of mast cells in the skin and/or in the internal organs. We describe a case of severe DCM with systemic involvement.A 37wk M born via c/s for known hepatosplenomegaly. He had generalized hyperpigmented crusty lesions with some hypopigmented and nodular areas. The neck and inguinal area had thickened skin folds, and blisters on the palm.
