Abstract
•Ordered PVA films were used to study of excitation energy transfer in 3 donor-acceptor systems.•Systems differ in D and/or A transition moments orientation relative to the axis of stretching.•The acceptor fluorescence may be polarized or depolarized after energy transfer.•Acceptor emission anisotropy depends on the distribution of transition moments.
