摘要

•Ions and fragments of isomeric PAH derivatives in atmospheric pressure chemical ionization were identified.•Patterns of ionization and fragmentation of PAH derivatives were used to identify unknown products from the oxidation of PAHs.•Fragmentation pathways for PAH derivatives containing a variety of functional groups are proposed.
