Abstract

•The selected group of four NH2-derivatives of phenothiazine was grafted to Glassy Carbon (GC) surface.•The grafted phenothiazines are able to generate 1O2 when activated by the radiation.•Such modified solid surfaces may find their application in the wastewater treatment.
