摘要
Bariatric surgery is an effective method of treatment for morbid obesity as it provides not only weight loss but also resolution of obesity-related co-morbidities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of malabsorptive procedures (Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass-LGBP & Duodenal Switch-DS) versus restrictive procedures (Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy-LSG) as it relates to percentage excess weight loss, postoperative complications & resolution of comorbidities.
