Abstract
Despite several evidence-based guidelines available to promote fertility preservation (FP) for young patients and children, young patients still report FP as one of the top five unmet needs during their cancer care. Surveys have identified barriers that limit patients' access to FP, including organization-related barriers, such as lack of inter-professional cooperation, unclear referral paths for FP and the cost of the procedures.
