Performance Estimation of Induction Motor using Artificial Neural Network

摘要
This paper presents a performance estimation method of the induction motor (1M) using the artificial neural network (ANN). The ANN is utilized to approximate the performance such as the current, power factor, torque, and efficiency. Due to the learning characteristics of the ANN, the overall performance of IM can be predicted only by the data of a specific section. The proposed method can save a lot of time, effort, and cost since measuring all the driving sections is not necessary. Finally, in order to verify the estimates, the experiments were conducted under equivalent conditions and the estimates were compared with measured values.
