Case report: Crizotinib is effective in a patient with ROS1-rearranged pulmonary inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor

•Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor(IMT) is a rare disease with limited therapeutic options.•ROS1 rearrangements have been reported in 9–13% of IMT.•We described a boy with ROS1-rearranged pulmonary IMT who achieved continuous remission with crizotinib.•Next generation sequencing provides comprehensive genetic characteristics and potential actionable targets in IMT.
