Utilization of Fertility Preservation Services By Patients Aged 18-40 Prior to Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

•Administrative claims data from commercial payers were used to study utilization of fertility preservation services before HCT for patients between ages 18 and 40 years.•Claims for fertility preservation before HCT were uncommon, with just 7% of patients using their insurance to cover these services.•Patients receiving fertility preservation services tended to be women under age 26 from the Northeast and South census regions.
