摘要

•Natural lipids DAG and PS enhanced cell association of CPP-liposomes to VSMCs and VECs in a cell-type specific manner.•Inclusion of DAG decreased octaarginine-mediated liposome toxicity in VSMCs, while no protective effect was observed in VECs.•Inclusion of DAG or PS did not affect liposome properties including size, homogeneity, or siRNA encapsulation efficiency.
