Capacitive Response Of Voltage Source Inverters And Its Effect On Initial Load Sharing In Power Systems

摘要
The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that the natural power response of voltage source inverters, defined as capacitive response, can be a potential solution to solve the lack of inertia in electrical grids with high proportions of sources connected through power electronics. The present work focuses on voltage control algorithms and reveals that ac current control loops may result in suppressing the capacitive response of inverters, even in grid-supporting algorithms. Two solutions are proposed to respectively "ignore" and "allow" capacitive response using single-loop and cascade-loop controls.
