摘要

•The effect of postsurgical RAI therapy on survival in node-positive PTC is unknown.•Survival differences assessed in full cohort and in a propensity score–matched subset.•TT plus RAI was associated with better overall survival than TT alone.•The survival benefit of RAI varied by age at diagnosis.•Patients with stage T4 and nodal disease benefited most from RAI treatment.
