We propose, in vitro generation of HLA-G-expressing T cells through pharmacological hypomethylation as a simple, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-compatible and efficient strategy to produce a stable Treg subset of a defined phenotype that can be easily purified for adoptive immunotherapy.
