Laboratory evaluation of differential attraction of Culex pipiens pallens to fruit-based sugar baits

The box trap (A) used for capturing mosquitoes was composed of a clear plastic container (B) and a pedestal (C). Culex pipiens pallens were differentially attracted by box traps baited with nine kinds of fruit-based sugar solutions.
