摘要

•We assessed correlations of NT-proBNP and copeptin with erythrocyte-related parameters.•Volume-dependent markers were positively related to copeptin and inversely to NT-proBNP.•Volume-independent parameters were not related to either NT-proBNP or copeptin.•A hemodilutional mechanism for the explanation of these findings is proposed.
