Efficiency of Transluminal Angioplasty of Hepatic Venous Outflow Obstruction in Pediatric Liver Transplantation.

•The recurrent rate of hepatic venous outflow obstruction (HVOO) after stent placement was 0%, and the recurrence rate of HVOO after balloon angioplasty was 43%.•No patients developed stent migration during long-term follow-up.•Hepatic venous stent placement is more effective and safe than balloon angioplasty for treatment of HVOO in pediatric liver transplantation for long-term survival.
