摘要

•Trichotillomania symptom severity is typically rated using the MGH-HPS and NIMH-TSS.•By meta-analyzing clinical trials we found optimal cutpoints for treatment response.•For the MGH-HPS a 35% or 7-point reduction was the optimal definition of response.•For the NIMH-TSS a 50% or 6-point reduction was the optimal definition of response.•Future expert consensus definition of treatment response should consider these data.
