Incomplete uptake of EGFR mutation testing and its impact on estimation of mutation prevalence in patients with non-squamous NSCLC: A population-based study in New Zealand.

•EGFR mutation testing is recommended for patients with non-squamous NSCLC.•Testing uptake is incomplete but has improved over time in New Zealand.•We proposed a method to quantify influences of patient factors on testing uptake.•The mutation prevalence could be lower than observed if all patients were tested.
