摘要

•MeOH extract of Curcuma zedoaria rhizomes inhibited the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO).•Five sesquiterpenes (1–5) were isolated using bioactivity-based analysis.•Curcuzedoalide (5) exhibited potent inhibitory effects on NO synthesis.•The compound (5) suppressed pre-inflammatory protein expression of iNOS and COX-2.
