Abstract
•Co-expressing of five genes, NCED3, ABAR, CBF3, LOS5, and ICE1, in B napus promotes growth under both normal growth and stress conditions.•Co-expression of five genes in B napus significantly enhances multiple stresses tolerance at seed germination and seedling stages.•Co-expression of five genes in B napus significantly decreases stomatal aperture and water loss rate.•Co-expression of five genes in B napus significantly increases ABA content and decreases MDA content.
