The use of an uncovered stent in type A aortic dissection during open aortic surgery.
The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery(2018)
Abstract
Abstract A 40 year-old patient underwent placement of an uncovered stent into the aortic arch for acute type A aortic dissection. The true lumen occlusion within the descending aorta could be reversed, but the false lumen remained patent. No thromboembolic complications occurred during the 1 year follow-up.
