•Y-stenting is a safe and effective treatment for complex pulmonary artery bifurcation stenosis.•Y-stenting creates a geometry close to the physiological pulmonary artery bifurcation anatomy with complete alignment to the vessel wall without flow separation.•The single lumen outcome serves as an ideal landing zone for percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation.•Connecting bifurcation stents seem to cause less intima proliferation.
