Successful treatment of reflex epilepsy with praxis induction by stimulus avoidance only.

•We collected and analyzed the clinical features of patients with Zipai-induced epilepsy in China.•Zipai-induced epilepsy may be an unreported subtype form of reflex epilepsy with praxis induction.•Long seizure latency in our study means epileptic seizures triggered by this game require a long-term cognitive activity•Fatigue, stress, secondhand smoke and sleep deprivation may be associated with susceptibility to Zipai-induced epilepsy•Nonpharmacological treatment was used alone and all patients achieved seizure-free status.
