摘要
•The similar appetite results at the lab and 'at home' support the applicability of this location for food research. This may result in faster, easier and less expensive study options for nutrition and health research.•The study showed that a well prepared and controlled protocol can be used by volunteers at home, providing valid data.•Food interventions tested in the home situation have increased ecological validity.
