摘要

•We investigated ERPs of children’s metacognitive judgments of learning (JoL).•JoL and memory related control judgments have different neural signatures in children.•JoL showed a more negative slow wave over centro-parietal areas.•This supports theories proposing different processes for metacognitive and cognitive judgments.
