摘要

Genomic discrimination can be applied to assist outbreak investigation. It enabled confirmation or exclusion of GAS cases from epidemiologically defined outbreaks. Colonisation of HCWs and environmental contamination with the outbreak strain was demonstrated for several outbreaks.
