Abstract
•We indentified a high yield of exopolysaccharides (BPS) bacteria WYZ strain.•Some physicochemical properties of the BPS were studied.•BPS showed high intrinsic viscosity and water retention capacity.•BPS also had significant percutaneous absorption effect of local anesthetic lidocaine.•BPS is safe and have great potential as biomaterials.
