Effects of the NMDA receptor antagonists dizocilpine and Ro 63-1908 on delay-discounting and risky decision-making in a gambling task.

•Dizocilpine effect on delay discounting dependent on delay order.•Effect most consistent with behavioural inflexibility rather than impulsive choice.•Dizocilpine promotes small immediate reward in gambling task (rGT).•GluN2B antagonist Ro 63–1908 ha s only borderline effect on choice in rGT.•Dizocilpine and Ro 63–1908 have robust effects on impulsive action measured concurrently in rGT.
